Practical exercises and meditations these evenings will be from various traditions and will vary depending on the group. It can be mindfulness exercises, guided meditations, visualizations, etc
Note, the event is located in the Library room.
This event is suitable for those curious about meditation, those who are in interested in the subjects of mind and awareness, beginners in meditation and those who may be practicing and would like to get more understanding about the subject.
I am sceptical about meditation, is this for me?
This evening is perfect for sceptics, as you will get understanding of the subject through talk and practical exercise.
I have never done meditation, is this for me?
This event is suitable for complete beginners and also for those who may have experience with meditation.
What can I bring into the event?
The seating for this event will be on chairs, so no yoga mat is needed. You may wish to bring a bottle of water.
What’s the refund policy?
Refunds will be offered in case of the event cancellation. No refunds will be offered if you cancel your attendance. If you can not attend, you can give your ticket to your friend.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Yes you would need to show printed ticket, alternatively you can show your ticket on your phone.
Can I pay at the door?
You can pay at the door in cash only. Please note, due to the limited number of spaces it is recommended that you make a prior booking online.
I am on medication, can I attend?
Depending on your health condition you may need to ask permission from your doctor. Although meditation can be helpful supplement to many health conditions, it doesn’t intent to substitute your medical treatment.
